Endpoint Devices running SecureDoc Encryption Blue-Screen halt following resumption from Hibernation if DMA is enabled in device BIOS.

Presence of the DMA-enabled state in BIOS settings (which is a default for most recent devices) can cause SecureDoc to Blue-Screen halt once user has logged in to Pre-Boot following resumption from Hibernation.

Issue: Presence of the DMA-enabled setting (which is a default for most recent devices) in BIOS can cause SecureDoc to Blue-Screen halt once user has logged in to Pre-Boot following resumption from Hibernation. This issue appears to affect devices regardless whether software or hardware-encrypted.

NOTE: The BSOD also occurs regardless whether the "Unlock Self-Encrypting Drives(e.g: OPAL, TCG Enterprise)when system resumes from Sleep mode" option is enabled or disabled. This setting appears to have no effect.

Workaround: Disable OS Kernel DMA Support in the device's BIOS settings. This might be named differently on other platforms

The Option Support Pre-boot DMA Support is not needed to be changed. It is not affecting the bluescreen.

Microsoft is currently looking into this.
