Error 12 appears after start-up, or when launching SecureDoc Control Center (client agent GUI) Issue: Error number 12 after starting up and also when trying to launch SDCC TPM Support may have been enabled in the profile in effect on this device, but the TPM Chip has not been Activated/Registered on this specific device. Initially, disable the TPM chip in the BIOS, and send down a new Profile that does not rely upon TPM. Afterward, if TPM is desired, it is essential that the TPM Chip is first Activated and Registered, after which the original TPM-based profile can be redeployed to this device. The profile so deployed will not rely on a User Password, but instead will rely on the user authenticating to the TPM chip at pre-boot, which will release the cipher that will unlock the key file. |
