Issue: Failure to start SecureDoc encryption engine.  System error code: 00000009. driver number 5

Symptom: Failure to install SecureDoc


Product version affected: All SecureDoc version

Environment (OS/hardware/software): Windows OS

Probable Causes:

Corrupt or missing C++ Redistributable Package 2005 (8) and .NetFramework

Not running with admin rights (may need to disable the UAC)

Running securedoc_64.msi instead of securedoc_64.exe file

Resolution:
Focus on MS C++ Redistributable Package follow by causes 2 and 3
