Title: SecureDoc And macOS Catalina 10.15 Compatibility
Apple is anticipating macOS Catalina 10.15 will be released between September and November of 2019. WinMagic is currently implementing a new SD FV2 client to support the Catalina platform and will provide a release update shortly. Once Apple officially releases Catalina, WinMagic will require an additional 30 days to complete our validations on the release version. Please note that SD FV2 v8.3 SR1 and earlier versions will NOT support macOS Catalina 10.15, and customers will need to wait for the new SD FV2 v8.5 release before upgrading to Catalina.
Customers should not upgrade existing SD FV2 systems to macOS Catalina 10.15 until WinMagic issues an announcement with further instructions.
For unexpected cases where systems automatically upgrade to macOS Catalina 10.15 in error, system inaccessibility may occur without recovery ability.
