On February 5th 2018, WinMagic announced SecureDoc for macOS support for the latest release of macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. Recently, Apple has released the sixth beta to developers for the upcoming release of macOS High Sierra 10.13.4. We expect that this release will soon be available to the public.
Currently, SecureDoc FV2 and SDOT FV2 clients are currently not supported on macOS 10.13.4. This limitation affects both new SecureDoc installations on macOS 10.13.4, as well as upgrades to macOS 10.13.4 that have existing SDFV2 and SDOT FV2 versions installed. WinMagic is in the process of resolving these issues, and will provide full updates to customers advising when SecureDoc officially supports the new High Sierra (10.13.4) release.
For unexpected cases where systems have been upgraded to 10.13.4, system inaccessibility my occur without recovery ability.
Recommendation:
Upon the expected release of macOS 10.13.4, customers using SecureDoc Enterprise for macOS should not apply the update until further notice. A new version of the SecureDoc macOS client will be made available following the GA release of SecureDoc 8.2, expected in April 2018.
If you have by incident applied the update, please contact WinMagic Technical Support for further assistance.
