WinMagic Has The Following Tips for using SecureDoc with the Dell Precision 7350:
- This Device works best with our 64 bit PBLU preboot environment.
- When installing SecureDoc to the Dell Precision 7530 using Software Encryption, only PBU is available
- If you are interested in PBLU for the Dell Precision 7530, you will need to modify the BIOS to use AHCI mode from RAID mode. If you switch between these two modes you will need to reimage your device before installing SecureDoc. You will also need to change the bootloader from PBU to PBLU in the SecureDoc Control Centre and update boot logon to apply the changes.
- If you are interested in installing SecureDoc to the Dell Precision 7530 using Hardware Encryption you will need to modify the BIOS to use AHCI mode from RAID mode. If you switch between these two modes you will need to reimage your device before installing SecureDoc.
- The trackpad and touchpoint only work in PBLU. They will not work in PBU.
