Issue:

This article addresses an issue with 6.5 SR3 and 7.1 SR1, whereby the SESWeb administrator with limited/restricted folder access is able to access the newly created or imported folders.

Case Scenario:

A company can have many separate administrators to manage departmental users and devices.
The admin user(s) in a restricted group should not automatically have view access to the new folder.
However, customers have reported that if an admin user is set to only see for example the Marketing OU (folder) and a new OU (folder) is added, then the currently restricted admin(s) can also see the new OU folder as well.  Since the Marketing admin is set to only see the Marketing OU then they should not be able to see any new OU's that are added.

Probable Causes:

This is a current bug with the existing versions.
