Topic:

This article discusses an issue detected by one client who installed the SecureDoc client software, including boot logon, but SecureDoc is not  able to encrypt the device.

Product version affected:

All SD versions

Environment:

Affects all versions of SD

Probable Cause:

The BitLocker was already enabled and encrypted the device.

Resolution:

  1. All other encryption software should be removed first before installing SD.
  2. Client must also log into the SecureDoc's Control Center with Admin credentials and remove the boot logon, and uninstall SecureDoc.
  3. Restart the device and then re-run the SD installation.
