Error message:

The TTOKI initialization failed

Error number C0

Signature invalid

Reason: The module(s) comprising the cryptographic engine does not match the checksum.

Two possible reasons for that:

1. One of the checksums is corrupted.
2. Something went wrong during upgrade of the client and a checksum(s) was not properly updated.

To troubleshoot this error:

Ask the customer sends us the following files:

Located in either:

• Windows\System32:
• Windows\SysWOW64:

find and send us the chktoki.dat file

and chkuser.dat

Located in:

• Windows System32\Drivers:

find and send us the Chkdtk.dat file

We would also need the build number installed on the affected client machines.

Development will need to look at this - best resource is Alex M.
