Error 6907: Decrypt a partition on a fully-encrypted drive

Symptom

This error occurs when, in the SecureDoc encryption tab, a user attempts to decrypt a partition on a 'whole-disk' encrypted drive.

Cause

This error occurs when the user attempts to decrypt part of an encrypted primary partition.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, the user must instead decrypt the whole hard drive (designated as HD1, HD2, etc).
