Environment (OS/hardware/software):

SES 9.2.000.63

Server: VMWare Windows Server 2022, SQL 2022

Client: HP EliteBook 830 G9 Windows 11 23H2 (22631.4541) Pro PBLU HWE

Fingerprint model: Synaptics FS7605 Touch Fingerprint Sensor with PurePrint(TM)

Also occurs on the device "Lenovo E15 Gen 4 Windows 10-21H1" with the "Goodix fingerprint" fingerprint model.

Workaround:

  1. This issue does not occur when switching to PBU preboot version.

  1. Browse to "Control Panel" and turn off fast startup under "Power Options". This issue then does occur.

Fast start-up in combination with PBLU interferes with the fingerprint sensor and makes it unusable on Windows
