How to prepare and Download SES Installation Packages using the SESWeb web-based Console

NOTE: SESWeb currently at this time does not have the necessary interface elements to create a new Installation Package or to edit/modify an existing Installation Package using the SESWeb console. The SES Administrator will need to initially define or create the package from within the SES (SecureDoc Enterprise Server console).

Version V6.2 of SES introduced SES Administrators to this new option of being able to first prepare installation package and then the ability to download the Installation Package directly from within the SESWeb web-based Console.

The preparation stage (applicable to Windows Installation Packages) once selected, will simply create a .zip file behind the scenes containing the 7 or 8 files normally associated with a Windows installation file. For Apple Mac packages already come in a single dmg archive file, and therefore will not need to be zipped.
