The set max failed attempts for login found in the Linux Boot Configuration profile is failing for version 9SR2 and 9SR4. Functionality of this has not been tested in other versions.

The default configuration of 15 max failed attempts will fail. When installing a new package with a custom failed attempt configuration, it will also fail.

For example, a Linux machine is configured at 2 max failed attempts. The user of that device then enters 2 false passwords on the machine on the same keyfile off the network. The keyfile should not unlock on the 3rd attempt, because of the set configuration of 2 max failed attempts. In this case, the user will still be able to unlock the keyfile with the correct password at the 3rd attempt.

This will be resolved in a future version of SecureDoc.
