SES.Idp.Web- Unable to remove the existing SAML SPs
Issue: The SecureDoc IdP SAML configuration permits deleting a SAML SP but the deletion does not actually occur, resulting in the SAML SP remaining in the configuration.
Reason: The existence of WEBDAV in the configuration of the server prevents the deletion from proceeding. WEBDAV is not required for the SecureDoc IdP IIS Server.
Solution: When installing the IIS server, do not enable WEBDAV.
If your IIS Server already exists and it services other workloads than just SecureDoc IdP:
then:
a) If no other services require WEBDAV then disable WEBDAV completely for the IIS Server, or
b) if WEBDAV is required for other services running on the same IIS server, ensure that WEBDAV is not enabled on the IIS instance servicing SecureDoc IdP by adding the following statements to the web.config file:
<modules>
<remove name="WebDAVModule" />
</modules>
<handlers>
<remove name="WebDAV" />
</handlers>
