Environment

SecureDoc 9.0, 8.6 SR1 HF2

Windows 11 21H2(OS Build 22000.282)

SFE enabled profile

Summary: On a SecureDoc encrypted device with SFE enabled - Windows update would fail to install the KB below on Windows 11 21H2 (OS Build 22000.282).

Workaround:

1. On SES, Go to profile ->uncheck SFE and assign to Client.

4. Reboot Client.

5. Login BootLogon and Windows Logon successful

6. Try to run KB Windows10.0-KB5007215-x64-v1.007.msu. (The KB should update successful (OS Build 22000.318)

7. On SES, Go to profile ->enabled SFE (non-persistence as before update KB) assign to Client

8. Reboot Client

9. Login BootLogon and Windows Logon successful

10. At Windows Desktop, Verify if able access any SFE encrypted folder

11. Test creating a new folder and encrypt folders using SFE.
