IMPORTANT NOTICE: Recommended upgrade procedures for Windows 10 April 2018 Update
At this time, WinMagic does not recommend our customers to use the “Automatic Update” feature within “System and Security” to update Windows 10 to the April 2018 Update:

WinMagic is recommending our customers to use one of the following April 2018 Update paths. We are assuming that you are running WinMagic SecureDoc 7.5 SR1 or higher:
OPTION 1 – Update SecureDoc drivers prior to updating Windows 10 April 2018 Update
This scenario requires the SecureDoc drivers to be updated in the ReflectDrivers folder prior to running the Windows 10 April 2018 Update. The following steps should be taken:
Step 1: Using SCCM, or another distribution tool, create a copy of the following files from “C:\Windows\System32\drivers”:
- SDDisk2K.sys
- sddToki.sys
- chkdxp.dat
- chkdtk.dat
Step 2: Paste and overwrite these files into the folder “C:\Program Files\WinMagic\SecureDoc-NT\ReflectDrivers\AMD64”
Step 3: Next, perform the Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
Please note 8.2 HF1 will address and support running Windows 10 April 2018 update using the “Automatic Update” installation feature built-into System and Security.
OPTION 2 – Distribute the April 2018 Update setup file locally to the device
For this upgrade scenario, the full April 2018 Update setup file should be copied to the device, i.e. using SCCM or other distribution software. This mode ensures the full RS4 upgrade can complete in a fully offline mode.
