Apple has released macOS High Sierra which has a significant change in it in the form of a new file system called Apple File System or APFS for short. WinMagic will be releasing support for High Sierra in two phases. If you need support now for FileVault 2 under High Sierra and you do not use SDOT (WinMagic's Pre-Boot Environment), we have a client installer that is now available that only supports FileVault 2. To receive it, please submit a support ticket via the customer portal or e-mail [email protected]. The release notes for the client can be found here:

Full support for High Sierra in the form of SecureDoc FileVault 2 and SDOT FileVault 2 will be available by the end of November. This document will be updated when it is available. .

Please keep in mind that you must install the updated SecureDoc client BEFORE you upgrade to High Sierra.
