What is the limit to the number of devices that can be added to the SecureDoc Enterprise Server Profile's Trusted Devices and Port Control?

1. Trusted Devices
Q: Can we add a device of a manufacturer which is not listed on the default list?  For example, if we have a local self-encrypted USB stick which is not known by WinMagic, can we "technically" add this device as a trusted device?

A: Yes. Trusted Devices is more like port control in design, where you can add any device based on the categories presented to you. This was developed to avoid those custom builds where customer comes with these special removable media. The limit for this 100 devices.
 
2. Port Control
Q: Previous versions had limitations on the number of authorized devices able to be distributed by SES.
Does SD v5.3 and newer versions have such limitation? If so, how many devices?

A: We did not improve the part in SD 5.3 and it remains the same. Unfortunately the limit varies based on different categories
1) You can define 100 device classes (added based on class) or
2) You can define 10 device models (based on device model) or
3) You can define 10 devices (based on specific device)
