1411 MacBook Pro Devices Freezes When Resumes From Sleep Mode

Issue:

When a MacBook pro is in sleep mode for over an hour it prompts for SecureDoc credentials when it resumes from sleep mode.

If you enter the credentials to bypass the SecureDoc screen the computer freezes at the silver and gold key icon and does not load the OS

Cause:

The computer enters hibernation mode

Fix:

Please look at the settings below and change them accordingly in order to prevent the issue from occurring.

In order to change a value to 0 you can use the following command

Ex. sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0

Where you can substitude "autopoweroff” for any of the other settings.
