Black Screen Blinking Cursor after installing Boot Logon
This article applies to the SecureDoc client, version V5.x and subsequent versions. This happens because of a compatibility issue with the SecureDoc V5 boot logon. To bypass this issue, restart the system.
WinMagic SecureDoc boot logon v 1.1.x . . . . a .
This will boot to the V4 Boot Logon. The user will be able to Login normally, and the system will boot into Windows. To make this change permanent, see article 237, entitled "Permanently Changing Boot Logon to V4" If, after trying the V4 boot logon, you still get a black screen blinking cursor, please see the article entitled "Troubleshooting Issues after Boot Logon". If you are using PBConnex to authenticate at boot logon, it may be required to acquire additional log files from the V5 boot Logon.
