Audit Log Message - Audit log has been modified outside of SD application Symptom
The client device displays the following error message: Cause
You might see this message if SecureDoc is installed on a dual-boot Windows computer. In this configuration SD is loaded on the first OS; however, when the second OS is booted it still uses the same audit log that the primary OS used. Subsequently, when the first OS is booted again, SecureDoc detects the audit log has been changed (by something other than itself) and shows the warning message warning that the log was updated outside of (this instance of) SecureDoc. In this case the audit log has been updated by SecureDoc (running in the second OS) but of course the primary OS is not aware of it. Resolution This is a benign message that can be safely ignored.
