How to enable the virtual keyboard for Motion Computing tablet computers
The settings shown below will enable the virtual keyboard for most Motion Computing C and
F-series tablet computers.
These can be set either: through the Profile (see just the list of settings below) or through the pre-boot settings if you have SecureDoc Administrative privileges
Here are the instructions for making this change at Pre-Boot on a specific client Tablet PC:
1. Insert USB keyboard
2. Start computer.
3. At pre-boot logon menu, Press F4. Input all values below using the attached keyboard:
Xmin=001f
Ymin = 0000
Xmax = 14be
Ymax = 0f9b
Serial port = 0238
Baud rate = 0006
4. Restart computer and detach USB keyboard.
5. At the pre-boot logon menu, click the virtual keyboard icon (bottom right).
You should now see the virtual keyboard, and should be able to use it to enter the username and password.
