Configuring Panasonic FZ-G1 for Mouse/Finger Input

Due to input configurations that were set in SecureDoc 6.4.0 and 6.4.1, it is required to follow the indicated instructions in order to have a combination of Mouse/Finger input on the Panasonic FZ-G1 tablets.

Limitation

  • SecureDoc 6.4.0 will only work if using a mouse for input, the finger input does not work.
  • SecureDoc 6.4.1 will only work if using finger input, the mouse input does not work.

This will cause issues when running an environment which will have a combination of tablets using Mouse/Finger input.

Workaround

In order to create an environment that uses a combination of mouse/finger input it will be required to install SecureDoc 6.4.0 on the SES Server. A package has to be created and deployed to all devices using "Mouse” input.

After all of the devices using mouse input have been configured, SecureDoc 6.4.1 will have to be installed on the SES server. A package has to be created and deployed on all the devices using "Finger” input.

Note: It is imperative that the SecureDoc 6.4.1 packages are not re-deployed on the devices using "Mouse” input.
