Missing profile on SD client computer
Symptom - SES Console indicates that a client computer did not receive a profile - SD Control Centre does not start Cause Communication/installation problem. Resolution If the SD Control Centre does start, then you can manually import the profile into the client. If the SD Control Centre does not start, follow the steps below: 1) Copy the sdprofile.spf file from your installation package to c:\program files\winmagic\securedoc-nt\userdata. 2) Rename the file to upprofile.spf. 3) Change the SDMigrate registry key to 1. This key can be found under HKey_Local_Machine>Software>Winmagic (if this is a 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7 computer, the key will be under HKey_Local_Machine>Software>Wow6432Node>Winmagic) 4) Re-start the computer. |
