Message at boot logon after entering the password - "System is locked now"

Symptom

At the SecureDoc Boot Logon, after entering the user enters their password, the system displays the message "System is locked now. Reboot your computer to try and login again".

Cause

The SecureDoc Boot Logon allows for 3 login attempts before the system is temporarily Locked out, requiring a reboot to attempt again.

 Resolution

Restart the computer and enter the correct password. You'll another 3 attempts before the device needs to be restarted again.  

NOTE: The SecureDoc Standalone version allows you to do this infinitely by default.   The SecureDoc client from an SES server will have a limit of 15 attempts total.    If the Self-Help Recovery questions were configured, this can be used to sign into the device.   For SES Users, you can also contact your Helpdesk to complete a challenge response.
