This article covers how to provide a user (who does not have SecureDoc Admin Rights) the ability to update Boot Logon from the SecureDoc Control Center.
Summary
A setting not normally included in the SecurDoc.ini file can be added to permit a user who lacks the necessary SecureDoc Admin rights in his/her key file to be able to alter Boot Logon settings. A new clause referring to WMGAutoFix can be added to the SecurDoc.ini to allow a user to update boot logon, as explained below.
Process
1) Open Securedoc.ini in notepad or another simple text editor. This file is located under C:\Program Files\Winmagic\Securedoc-nt\Userdata
2) Add a new line under [General]
3) On the new line type the following WMGAutoFix=1
4) Save and close the Securedoc.ini file.
5) Close SDPin from Windows Task Manager.
6) From the Start Menu, start the SecureDoc Background Task. This is located under Start > All Programs > SecureDoc Disk Encryption
