Can the users stop the service in the SecureDoc Control Panel? Is there a way for the user to stop SecureDoc from running on their machine?
Answer:
If the user has local Windows administrator rights, he/she can stop the SecureDoc service, however, this does render the device vulnerable.
It will stop communicating to the server, but data on the hard drive remains encrypted and protected.
