Error 7724: Unsupported smart card at boot logon
Symptom:
After trying to log into a CAC (Common Access Card - a form of SmartCard used mostly by the US Government/Military), the message "error 7724 Unsupported smart card at Boot Logon" appears.
The user will be unable to log into Boot Logon/Pre-Boot
Cause:
This error usually means that SecureDoc cannot find the token.
This could be due to the token type that was applied when creating the key file.
Resolution:
Depending on the smart card, the DoD Common Access Card should be selected.
Please re-create the key file with the correct token type and try again
DoD users must use the DoD Common Access Card. |
