About This Release

SecureDoc 9.2 HF3 is a maintenance update focused on resolving known issues and improving product stability.
No new features or functional changes are introduced in this Hotfix. Customers running SecureDoc 9.2 or 9.2 HF2 are encouraged to upgrade to this version to benefit from the latest fixes and enhancements.

Recommended – WinMagic recommends applying this Hotfix to maintain optimal stability and compatibility with SecureDoc 9.2 environments. This update addresses specific issues identified since the general availability of SecureDoc 9.2 and ensures continued reliability for enterprise deployments.

SSO Issue After Upgrade from SecureDoc 9.1 to 9.2

Issue: Following an upgrade from SecureDoc 9.1.102.293 to 9.2.000.291, users may experience a disruption in Single Sign-On (SSO), where the system pauses at the Windows login screen instead of logging in automatically after Pre-Boot Authentication.

Description: This issue only occurs when upgrading from the specified 9.1 version to 9.2. It does not occur with fresh installations of SecureDoc 9.2. The behavior was identified as related to specific configurations during the upgrade process.

Solution: This issue has been resolved in SecureDoc 9.2 HF3. Customers experiencing this behavior are advised to upgrade to this hotfix release to restore full SSO functionality.

BSOD on Windows 10 After Upgrading to SecureDoc 9.2

Issue: Some Windows 10 systems may experience a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) when upgrading from SecureDoc 9.0.000.1047 to the 9.2 release.

Description: This issue has been reported during the upgrade process on specific Windows 10 builds. It is related to how the operating system interacts with certain components during the upgrade. The issue does not occur on all systems and is limited to particular configurations.

Solution: This issue has been resolved in SecureDoc 9.2 HF3. Customers experiencing this problem are encouraged to upgrade to this hotfix release.
