Symptom:
When using LDAP to import information from AD, the following error message appears:
"Error number: 7ad3 Missing parameter in INI file"
The import fails.
Cause:
If you receive this error, there are a few possible reasons:
Case 1 - The INI file is not UNICODE.
Case 2 - The password is not saved inside the INI file.
Resolution:
Case 1 - Open the file, and click Save as. Simply enter a name, and set the file type to UNICODE.
Case 2 - The password is not saved inside the INI file. In the import GUI, enter the AD password and click Change. The password information should be saved at the end of the INI file.
Please make sure your AD host information is accurate.
