Yes, SecureDoc does use OpenSSL cryptographic module for asymmetric encryption.
We use OpenSSL 1.1.1m TLS with SD Web only.
SecureDoc DMZ Gateway Service is a simple forward proxy that redirects client messages to SDConnex only if client is valid.
SecureDoc DMZ Gateway determines this by sending a request to SDConnex. It does not have any cryptographic code.
SecureDoc 9.0 SR1 is using OpenSSL 1.1.1m to do asymmetric cryptography.
Open SSL 2.X and 3.X are not used at this time.
