HeartBleed security vulnerability not an issue for SecureDoc
All SecureDoc components are not affected by the Heart Bleed vulnerability. 1. The affected versions of OpenSSL are 1.0.1 – 1.0.1f. SecureDoc is using version 0.9.8g
2.The flaw was discovered in TLS/SSL handshake. SES/SDConnex don’t rely on OpenSSL protocols. SES uses the other library that provides pure cryptography to do RSA encryption independently.
3.We do not use OpenSSL in SES Web, it’s entirely based on Microsoft TLS/SSL implementation which do not have this vulnerability. For further information, please contact WinMagic Support. |
