Why am I getting unhandled Exception when launching SecureDoc Service Configuration?
Problem Scenario:
User has observed after upgrading SecureDoc, they’re unable to launch SecureDoc Service Configuration due to the following Unhandled Exception event:
Environment:
The following environment has been confirmed in which this event occurs:
SES 8.2
Windows Server 2008
Cause:
Current systems requirement needed for SES 8.2 is the use of .Net Framework 4.7 which is not supported in Windows Server 2008 R2.
Current Workaround:
WinMagic recommends that an upgrade of Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2012 or newer will be required to support SES 8.2.
