SecureDoc Device Compatibility XML File for SES Version 8.2 and onward
Starting with Version 7.5 of SecureDoc Enterprise Server, WinMagic provides superior device, BIOS/UEFI and hardware compatibility for varying makes and models of computer and other Endpoint devices through the use of an XML file called KnownConfigs.xml that should be included with all SecureDoc Installation Packages created with SecureDoc Enterprise Server V7.5 or beyond.
This XML file contains a growing list of device-specific tested and recommended settings to help ensure that your SecureDoc Client software roll-out will be as problem-free as possible.
This XML file will be continuously updated by WinMagic. The most recent version can always be downloaded from within this Knowledge Base Article, using the link below:
NOTE: If you are running SES V7.5, it is important to note that the Device Compatibility XML file differs between SES Version 7.5 and subsequent versions; Certain features in SES Version 8.2 have no equivalent functionality in SES V7.5.
