SecureDoc For Linux - System Requirements
NOTE: Regarding Red Hat and Ubuntu version updates, our current strategy is to deliver minor kernel updates within one to two weeks upon request, unless we are faced with an unexpected complication, which would be exceedingly rare. Major kernel updates could take us in the order of three to six months to support, but that time may be shortened with advanced notice from the customer of their intention to roll out such an update.

The Linux requirements noted below are the same for both SecureDoc CloudVM (SDLinux for Servers) and SDLinux (for endpoints).

Support Policy

Regarding Red Hat and Ubuntu version updates, our current strategy is to deliver minor kernel updates within one to two weeks upon request, unless we are faced with an unexpected complication, which would be exceedingly rare. Major kernel updates could take us in the order of three to six months to support, but that time may be shortened with advanced notice from the customer of their intention to roll out such update.

NOTE: When preparing to complete a version upgrade, it is important that all customers back-up their data.  This is recommended before any testing or updating to ensure preservation of data.
