Issue: In this scenario, a user's Key file had been converted to Mobile Device- based protection and was working successfully. The user wanted to switch back to password-protected authentication.
Solution: To achieve this change, a new Key File must be sent down to the endpoint device for the user AFTER a set of steps have been performed, to wit:
The Administrator must apply a profile to the endpoint device that disables mobile device-based protection.
Since the user's Key File already has mobile device- based protection, the Administrator must disable that option in SES, and send down a new Key File for the User on that Device.
Once the new Key File (with the Mobile Protection option disabled) has been received on the endpoint device, the User will be switched to being able to log in using a Password.
