Theory Question: Does WinMagic manage the potential of having an MBR stored in the floating section of the drive space in an SSD?

Question: With the floating section of the drive space in an Solid State Drive (SSD), does WinMagic SecureDoc manage the potential of having an MBR stored in this location? This is more of a design question for managing SSDs - the answer could not be found anywhere in the documentation.

Response: Not sure what is the location of the floating section of SSD. But the same logic applies to SSD drives for crypto-erase as on software-encrypted disk.

The only thing different from on an SSD from a spinning Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is that the data is actually managed by Firmware (FW), and wiping a sector doesn’t guarantee the data is physically gone - but it does become inaccessible thru normal LBA access. It also involves windows trimming the sectors not used any more on an SSD drive, thru storage stack driver handling.
